1300GS on the tmt

Written by:

Follow TMT gpx collaborator Emile de Bruin and his chum on a ride down to cover a couple of the TMT’s High Atlas stages. The pistes are a lot wetter than normal but the big GSs plough on through. More from Emile here.

    Great video,

it really inspires me to complete the Trans-Morocco Trail. I’m 65 now and hopefully not the oldest on on track ;-), so I have nothing to lose. I’ll start either this fall or next spring. Thanks to Chris Scott for the brilliant book “Morocco Overland” + the nice track, which is constantly being updated and which I’ll follow as far as possible. Riding solo on Yami – World Raid.

Hello interesting and thanks for preparing this but could you not put historical and the like places not to miss on visits on the track with a special pin colour and description?

I ask coz I can’t see any (sorry!)

Sounds like you want a guidebook, Marc. But as we say in the very first link of TMT FAQs:
The TMT is not a self-guided tour, online guidebook or booking service. It is a basic navigation aid; a series of tracklogs with essential points of interest.

For more information you can either buy a guidebook – the French Gandini guides are good on history – or spend many hours online digging up the same information.

What a great video. Really well edited. I’ve been before but the TMT is right up there on my bucket list. From all the bikes seen you have a huge hit on your hands. Well done
