Introducing the TMT’s Trailblazers

Read Greg and Rick’s October 2024 trip report on Advrider

The Trans Morocco Trail team were delighted to be contacted by Rick and Greg, who will be the first to give Stage One of the TMT a go in October.

Rick and Greg won’t just be taking the quick and easy hop over the Straits of the Gibraltar to get to Morocco, however.

Instead, they’ll be flying in all the way from California.

“Rick and I are meeting in Marrakesh and will be renting KTM 390 Adventures from BM Attitude. We both have owned a KTM 390 ADV and think they will be the perfect bike for the TMT.

“this year we have the opportunity to recce about 10 days of the route starting mid-October. We have no preconceived expectations for this ride except we can’t wait for the experience and to explore new territory/cultures.”

We’re hoping that Rick and Greg’s trip will be testimony to how accessible the TMT can be for people to just ‘fly in and ride’. You can find out more about how you can do this in our FAQ section.

And we’re looking forward to hearing and seeing updates from Rick, Greg and other TMT adventurers, which why we’ve set up the TMT Facebook Group for travellers to share their stories and provide updates from the trail.
